The Residents: Bad Day on the Midway
Award-winning adventure game/interactive movie that was released back in 1995. This darkly atmospheric game is set in a theme park called Midway which is subject to a mysterious plague and a serial killer. You'll begin the game as a character named Timmy. As you meet other characters you can switch and control them and so on. There are multiple ways through the game and it will need to be replayed many times before all is revealed. When inhabiting a character you are privy to their thoughts, which appear as text at the bottom of the screen. The game covers horror and other adult themes and incorporates many touches of black humor. The graphics are effective, despite the game's age.
