Matches themselves are fully animated and there is a good analysis tool to help you assess your team's performance. News bulletins on all the teams also feature. The game's interface is better-looking than that used in many similar games.

The single-player game offers a choice of four options; training, tournament, open skate and endurance. There is also a two-player mode for co-operative or competitive games. The multi-player options are tech challenge (stunt competition), Vs, Teamplay (which allows up to 16 player to participate in a tournament) and CHUMP (a version of a basketball game). The game incorporate nine well-designed arenas in all, covering indoor and outdoor settings. Each has a bonus area where you'll earn extra points for successful stunts and there are numerous secret areas to be discovered. Locations include a recreation of the famous Burnside park. San Francisco and London also features. As you progress through the game you'll unlock new features.
