You'll face opposition in the form of two rival companies. The game features a tutorial and a selection of scenarios with different victory criteria. The gameplay involves money management, staff recruitment and marketing. You get to decide many aspects of your products, right down to the packaging. You can even sabotage your opponents businesses. The game is played through screens representing different locations and an easy to use interface. You also interact with NPCs during the game.
