Power Shovel
Unusual game featuring JCB mechanical diggers. The main game consists of a series of timed challenges that involve precision control of the diggers. You have a choice of three machines, of varied size (from the PC30MR to the PC1100).Challenges include digging trenches, destroying vehicles and moving turtles from one tank to another! A points system adds replayability to the main game. There is also a two-player mode and a selection of mini-games. The game's 3D graphics and controls are good.

Pacific Theater
Add-on for Combat Flight Simulator. The game is set during the air battle following the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in December 1941. You can fly for either side, with three missions for each. An additional campaign is already available on the developer's web site. There are 12 new aircraft incorporated in this pack. Each is rendered in accurate detail, as are the landscapes. The game's graphics are good.

The course planning system with maps and other customization options, such as weather conditions, is effective.
