	ID4: Independence Day Air combat game based on the blockbuster movie. The game consists of a series of some 13 missions set in the skies over various cities. There are ten flyable aircraft with a variety of high-powered weapons. The game's graphics and control system are reasonable, although the game is now a few years old. 	IL-2 Sturmovik WW2 combat flight sim featuring the Russian Illyuschin-2 aircraft, together with 16 other playable planes of US, German and Russian origin. Another 24 non-flyable aircraft also appear. The single-player game consists of six historically-based campaigns set between 1941 and 1945. You take the role of the pilot when flying all the aircraft, except the IL-2 Sturmovik, for which you can choose between to play the rear-gunner. Mission types include dogfights and escort missions. There is also a mission editor. The multi-player option has two game types' dogfight and allied (co-operative) mode. Up to 32 players can compete in dogfight mode and up to 16 players in allied mode. 	Incoming Forces Action/strategy game currently in development. It is the long awaited sequel to 'Incoming'. Unlike most similar games you'll play the alien forces as they face extermination at the hands of humans. The single-player game will consist of a series of combat-oriented missions set on four distinctive planets (Fantasy, Life, Core and Fortress). Both air and ground forces will be recreated. There will be ten types of aircraft and you'll be able to switch between controlling these directly during battle. You'll need to invest in research and development to have access to all the ships and customization options. There will also be a multi-player mode for games over Net or LAN. 	Independence War 2: The Edge of Chaos Space combat sim. The story picks up from where the first game left off and focuses of the efforts of a character named Carl Johnston to reunite the scattered resistance force. After a set of training missions, you can fly freely though 16 star systems. You can also engage in piracy. A set of missions is available and interspersed cutscenes help to develop the strong plot. The game employs a realistic flight model and the control system is effective. A range of weapons is available. There is a multi-player mode for networked games.
