The game employs real-life settings to good effect and these include a subway system and office block. There is a good degree of customizability available allowing you to define your character and preferred control system. A good range of voice samples, sound effects and tunes accompany play.

The game consists of a series of diverse missions each of which is introduced with an FMV briefing sequence. The gameplay involves shooting a variety of enemy bots and limited puzzle-solving. There are 17 types of high-powered weapons available and these include shotguns, energy rifles and guided missile launchers. Also, at points in the game you'll be able to fly a fighter. Add-on for the first-person shooter. The pack offers a new set of single-player missions plus 17 new multi-player maps and 2 game options. The single-player campaign mission are tied together with a story involving the rescue of a kidnapped girl. There are also a set of mini-missions that can be found by exploring a recreation of the Voyager ship and interacting with the crewmen you encounter. As you progress you find numerous items and unlock extra features. The new multi-player game types are a team-based game and a tag-style game called 'Borg Assimilation', in which a single Borg gradually turns his opponents into team mates (the aim is to survive for as long as possible). One of the new multi-player maps is based on the Captain Proton episodes and is in black and white.
