Tales of Chivalry
Adventure games based on the Arthurian legends. An innovative feature of the games is that there are two story arcs and time settings to choose from. In both you take the role of aspiring knight Guy Bradwen through five connected quests. The gameplay involves exploration, item collection, puzzle-solving and limited combat. Combat is settled automatically by the computer, you just have to equip Guy. The game employs a simple control system and detailed graphics. Lots of FMV is incorporated to help develop the story and atmospheric audio accompanies play.

Tales of Destiny
RPG set in a fantasy universe and follow-up to Tales of Phantasia that appeared on the SNES. You play a character named Stahn Aileron who finds a magical sword that can even talk. Stahn then embarks on a quest to find the others of its kind and the game boasts a strong story. The gameplay consists of exploration, interaction with NPCs (some of whom will join your party), item collection and combat. During the game your character's skills will improve. The game employs two views; an overhead perspective and a side-on scrolling screen view, particularly suited to combat sequences. The graphics and control system are generally effective.

Throne of Darkness
RPG set in a fantasy version of feudal Japan and due for release in mid-2000. There will be seven playable Samurai warriors each with their own characteristics and missions. The premise is that these warriors are on a quest to defeat the forces of the Dark Warlord. At points in the game several Samurai will be involved in fights and you'll be able to coordinate their actions. A notable feature of the game is the innovative multi-player mode promised in which four players can form a single party in on-line games and then when they meet and defeat the Dark Warlord the person that kills him will assume the Warlord role and have to defend his position, resulting in a competitive element.

The game's premise is that a group of evil creatures has entered the world during an eclipse and your character sets out to defeat them by finding a magical shield. The game incorporates good character creation and development systems. Other characters join your party as the game progresses. The gameplay consists of exploration, interacting with the few NPCs, solving occasional riddles and turn-based combat. The combat system is good, allowing you a reasonable section of move options. 3D role-playing game currently in development. It will be set in an original fantasy universe, on a continent called Agathe. You'll play a mysterious character who suffers under a curse what brings disaster to all who know him. Magic and conventional weapons will feature. Around a hundred spells are promised. They will be spit into four classes reflecting their origin (Summoning, Alchemy, Order and Chaos). The game will employ a version of the S.P.E.C.I.A.L engine for real-time combat. The game promises to offer good design and varied gameplay. Alongside combat, you'll be able to use diplomacy when interacting with NPCs. There will be a multi-player mode for up to six players.
