Record of Lodoss War
RPG loosely based on a animated TV series of the same name. You take the role of a warrior brought back to life by a wizard in order to save the world from the evil Kardis, as foretold in an ancient prophecy. As you progress through the game other characters will join your party including a dwarf named Ghim and a warrior named Parn, who feature in the TV series. The gameplay involves exploration, combat, item collection and use. The characters in your party gain new powers and strength as the game progresses. It is also possible to customize your character's weapons at points during the game. Combat is conducted in real-time. Much of the action is dungeon-based although a variety of settings feature. The game employs fully 3D graphics and the controls system is effective. You view the action from a third-person perspective. Atmospheric audio accompanies play. There is no multi-player mode.
