This action-oriented RPG is now available as a budget re-release. Set in four locations (dungeons, catacombs, caves and hell), it provides a large amount of role-playing combat action and reasonable graphics. The player has a choice of three character classes (Warrior, Rogue or Sorcerer). The main quest is to prevent the evil entity, Diablo, from entering the world. The game consists of 16 levels and a notable feature of the game was its random generation of quests, monster distribution and level design. The strong multi-player mode allows up to 16 players to participate via LAN or Net, and the game is popular for on-line gaming.

Virtual pet/strategy game. The premise is that you are a dragon trainer and there are tournaments in which you pit your dragon against others. The gameplay involves generating you dragon, training and caring for it and guiding it in battle. There are five basic types of dragon to choose from and their specific attributes are decided by a random input such as a line of text or part of a memory card file. Battles themselves are turn-based. Each turn you select from a limited number of options (block, slash, taunt, advance, retreat and special move). Doing well in tournaments earns cash that can be spent on weapons and training. You can also opt to compete against another player in quick start battles. Notably, once a dragon dies in battle it cannot be regenerated. The game is played through a series of basic screens and battles are conducted in 3D. The game's interface is effective.
