Baldur's Gate 2: Throne of Bhaal
Add-on and for the popular RPG and last installment in the Children of Bhaal saga.. It offers general improvements and a host of new features over its predecessors. There are three new chapters. The main story concerns the Bhaalspawn who are all competing to succeed to the throne. The action is set in the city of Saradush, which is under siege, the Marching Mountains, the abandoned temple of Bhaal and a dungeon called the Watcher's Keep.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
This action-oriented RPG related to the acclaimed PC RPGs is currently in development for PlayStation 2. You'll play a character whose sister has been snatched by the Dark Alliance. The gameplay will involve exploration, item collection/use, interaction with NPCs and lots of combat. Magic spells and conventional weapons will feature. Notably, there will be a two-player cooperative mode alongside the single-player game. The game's graphics and design promise to be good.

Traditional RPG that was originally released for play and ported to PC. You control one of a party of character who embark on a quest to recover four magical crystals. You begin by creating a character, choosing from eight different classes and adjusting their character stats by allocating extra points amongst the various attributes. You earn crystals by defeating the game's bosses. It is also possible to have other players control of character in the party. The gameplay consists of exploration, hack-and-slash combat, interaction with NPCs and item collection. The game is played on an isometric landscape and the graphics are fairly basic.

Traditional RPG set in a magical universe. The main character is a dragon-human hybrid named Ryu. Thought to be extinct the dragon races are again walking the earth. Ryu must defeat the Dark Dragons, who are attempting to get the keys needed to awaken a powerful goddess, named Tyr. Among the locations featured are large dungeon complexes, towns and a floating castle. This old game features fully 2D graphics. A world map displayed a players progress when moving between locations. Ryu is joined by other characters (up to three at a time, others can be substituted at any time). Each has their own abilities. The gameplay involves exploration, turn-based combat, item collection/use and interaction with NPCs.

Unlike the earlier games, this installment combines 3D backgrounds with 2D characters, to good effect. The story involves the discovery of a dormant dragon in a mine and the infancy of Ryu. The development of the Ryu character involves the use of Dragon Genes found in-game. These can be used separately or in combination to give Ryu new forms with varied abilities. The gameplay involves exploration, turn-based combat, item collection/use and interaction with NPCs. There are also numerous side quests and mini-games was extended. These include a fishing game and a more extensive RTS-style section in which players develop a settlement in fairyland.
