Lemon Dog in Code Name Alpha
Educational mini-game aimed at kids. The player guides Lemon Dog through a series of levels that involve piloting a space ship through a meteor shower collecting satellites along the way. A letter of the alphabet appears on the side of Lemon Dog's rocket and to move the player has to type the appropriate letter to maneuver (next letter to go up, preceding letter to go down). The satellites could then be used to defeat the evil Sour Puss.

You play Lemon Dog who must thwart his old enemy, Sour Puss, who has stolen a secret cat food recipe and is using it to help build up his army of karate cats. An erupting volcano spits out a random number of stones telling the player how many islands he can cross and if he/she lands on an island with a karate cat progress is impeded whilst bridges advance his/her progress. The game consists of a series of more than 50 levels divided into squares and the object is to change all the squares to your color whilst overcoming obstacles and preventing enemies from retaking control of the squares. Power-ups, including weapons, are scattered around the levels. Enemies come in many shapes with their own weapons and movement characteristics. Three difficulty levels add replayability value. Alongside the single-player game, is a multi-player mode for up to four players over LAN or online. The game's cartoon-style graphics are effective. Play is accompanied by a range of sound effects and a selection of tunes by well known artists mixed by Alistair Whitehead.

Lode Runner 2
Update of the classic platform-style puzzle game. The game consists of a series of some 75 isometric-viewed levels which incorporate ladders, platforms and gears. It is also possible to design your own levels. The aim of the game is to get through the levels avoiding falling off the platforms and evading the many types of enemies that attempt to impede your progress. You are equipped with bombs and there are pieces of gold scattered around which you must collect. You can choose form two characters, one male and one female. The game's levels design is good and settings are varied. There are five world including jungle and industrial settings. Alongside the single-player game is a multi-player mode for up to eight players with a choice of competitive to cooperative game types. The game's graphics are effective and the control system could be better.

Logical Journey of the Zoombinis
This kid's puzzle game mixes fun and math/puzzle-solving learning. The premise is that creatures named Zoombinis want to leave their homeland for greener pastures elsewhere. You must guide them in groups of 16 through the barriers that will face them on their journey. There are several a routes to take and each has their own hazards, such as a ferry captain who will only let the Zoombinis in his boat if they sit exactly where he says and follow his instructions. In all, there are some ten style of puzzle that require logical skills and careful control. Varied settings and many humorous touches feature. Good animated sequences intersperse the puzzles. When you get each group of Zoombinis to their new homeland you are rewarded with a new building there. There are four difficulty levels that add replayability to the game. The game's cartoon-style graphics and control system are effective. A selection of voice samples sound effects and upbeat music accompanies play.

Lose Your Marbles
Puzzle game. You play against a computer or human opponent and the gameplay involves controlling colored marbles that fall down in columns in order to create rows along the central line. Groups over three units will disappear and groups of five or more will cause extra marbles to fall on your opponent's screen. As well as normal levels, are bonus screen that can earn you new features such as marbles with special properties. Two players to compete over LAN or modem/serial connection. The game's graphics are effective, although it is the addictive gameplay that this game excels. The controls are simple.
