Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus

Platform game now available as a budget re-release for PC. This is the a follow-up to the popular game Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, and not a sequel proper. The gameplay combines exploration of a rich world, interaction with NPCs, combat and a major puzzle component. Powerups for Abe, such as invisibility, are scattered around in-game. Alongside the single-player game, there is a two-player mode (by taking turns). The game employs detailed 2D backgrounds and 3D characters.

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee

This acclaimed game was released back in 1997. It combined innovative gameplay and a rich gameworld with good graphics and design. You take the role of the unlikely hero Abe a strange creature, a member of the Mudokon race. He begins the game enslaved by a race called the Glukkons. The game's strong story revolves around Abe's discovery that the Glukkons have decided to make a new tasty snack from the Mudokons. Abe embarks on a quest to save them.
