On-line combat flight sim set during WW2. The game offers over 30 flyable aircraft, both bombers and fighters, of five nations (UK, US, Germany, Japan, USSR). They are all historically accurate and reproduced in fine detail. Among the featured planes are the P-47D Thunderbolt, F4U-4 Corsair, P-38 Lightning, P-51 Mustang, B-17, the La-5FN, La-7, Pe-8, Focke-Wolfe 190 A and D, and the Stuka. A nice feature of the game is that from you can view all the aircraft from virtually any angle. The game offers training missions and then its on to the on-line multi-player missions. There are 'Free For All', 'Territorial' and 'Team Battle' options. In territorial games there are certain designated targets to be destroyed in order to gain control of an area. The game has three levels of increasing realism and difficulty (Arcade, Intermediate and Advanced). Handling is very realistic on the highest level and everything such as air conditions and damage are accurately reflected in the plane's handling.

There are ten flyable planes, including the Focke Wulf 190, Spit Fire, P-51 Mustang, B-17 and Lancaster bombers. Each has distinctive handling characteristics and in certain cases you can select which crew member to play. You can opt to play through the single-player scenarios or participate in multi-player games over LAN or on-line (for up to eight players). The game boasts good graphics. Cockpits are rendered in full 3D. The AI is impressive.

In all, an impressive 10,000 square miles of the area around Seattle are reproduced. This includes various airports and bases which you can use as starting/finishing points.
