The game consists of a series of missions involving perfecting a series of maneuvers and each successfully completed stunts earns points. The game has a realistic flight model and the controls are effective. A good feature of the game is that there are training courses before each mission. The game's graphics are good with aircraft and terrain rendered in detail and there is an excellent replay function allows you to view your flight runs from multiple angles. Several different flyable crafts are incorporated and there are numerous stunts to perfect. There is also a free flight mode.

The game offers a choice of four modes, training, tactical, free flight and two-player. Since the control system and aircraft physics are realistically complex, there are some 30 training missions to teach you the skills required for the tactical missions (the main single-player mode). The tactical missions involve taking out specific targets within a time limit. The two-player mode offers open-ended dogfights. The game's graphics are fairly good. Cockpit displays are on hand to help you. The general difficulty level of the game is quite high.
