Side-scrolling fighting game currently in development. It will feature some forty-five playable characters, mostly familiar faces from the various Capcom/SNK games. Ten new characters will be introduced. A notable aspect of the game is that six fighting styles will be available, called grooves, also based on the earlier games. The game options will include single-player tournaments and a two-player mode. The game will employ lavishly-detailed 2D character models with 3D backgrounds. Arena settings will include desert, arctic, London streets and a temple.

Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000

Fighting game featuring well-known characters from Capcom and SNK games. In all there are over thirty playable character, most of which have to be unlocked. The fighting and control system combines elements from both series of games. Each character has their own special moves and there are numerous combos to master. A choice of 'supercharge' systems is available. Game options include arcade, practice and team-attack modes. A new addition is the team mode that enables you to select a team using a points system. The game combines detailed backgrounds and well-animated 2D graphics.

3D beat 'em up. Game options include training tournament, team battle, survival and two-player versus modes. The main single-player mode is tournaments which consists of a series of increasingly challenging fights that enable you to unlock new characters. The characters each have their own strengths, weaknesses and special moves. The matches take place in arenas with varied settings that incorporate power-ups and obstacles. The game's graphics and control system are effective.

Clay Fighter 63-1/3

Fighting game. A selection of cartoon-style characters are incorporated into the game including Earthworm Jim. Fights take place in one of 30 arenas and an innovative feature of the game is that many of them have 'breakthrough' areas allowing fights to spill out of the main arenas. Play is accompanied by an extensive range of humorous speech samples provided by Dan Castellaneta among others. There are numerous moves and combos to master and each fighter has special moves. There are several game options, including a multi-player mode. There are four difficulty levels adding replayability value to the single-player game. The game's the graphics and audio are adequate with some good touches.

Clay Fighter Sculptor's Cut

Fighting game and follow-up to Clay Fighters 63-1/3. A number of new characters are included. The fighting system and graphics have been modified. The game offers a range of cartoon-style characters and many different arenas. A good selection of moves and combos are available. The graphics are adequate. Once of the game's major strengths is the audio, which includes numerous amusing speech samples.

Innovative team-based action/strategy game currently in development. notably the game engine has been in development for some four years and this game promises to combine innovative gameplay, great design and advanced graphics. It will be set in the far future where human have colonized many far-flung planets. The story will begin with an invasion of some of these colonies by a race of aliens, the Tan'Khar. Cut off from Earth, it will be your character's job to retake the colonies from the inside. You'll play 'Terran Intelligence Operative', Mark Prophet. The game will consists of a series of missions. However the objectives will be fluid and effect the non-linear development of the game. the gameplay will combine team-based action, RPG elements and team-based action. Alongside the single-player game, will be a team-based multi-player mode.

Action/fighting game. Set in the future on an ocean liner, you play a character who must save the ship from a group of saboteurs. Your character has a wide range of moves at his disposal, together with the ability to pick up many of the objects scattered around, for use as a weapon. The game employs pseudo-3D graphics. The game is only suitable for adults.

This beat 'em up featuring robot fighter is now available at an ultra-budget price. You can play against the computer or a friend. Each fighter has their own special moves and alongside kicks and punches, projectile weapons are also available. The game's 3D graphics are generally good, whilst the control system is adequate.

CyberStrike 2

3D action game featuring giant robotic fighters. You take the control of one of these heavily armed units. Two versions of game are available. The single-player game can be bought over the counter whilst the multi-player game can be subscribed to online. The single player game consists of around forty combat-based missions divided into two campaigns. The multi-player game is a team-based deathmatch for up to 32 players. The game's graphics and controls are effective.
