	Oregon Trail 2 Acclaimed puzzle/strategic adventure game for kids and part of a long-running series. Set during the Great Migration in America, when pioneering settlers moved into Oregon, the player takes the role of a wagon-train leader. The aim of the game is to get as many of the settlers as possible to their destination, without losing too many to hunger or disease. The gameplay involves making strategic decisions about what equipment and supplies to take on the trail. You select the members of your party – each of which has their own characteristics. The game has an historical element – for instance the year in which you start out decides which trails are open to you. Once you've set out, the trial is shown through a series of photos and FMV clips and you can follow your progress on a map. At points along the trail you'll be faced with various obstacles and a selection of choices about how to proceed and you'll also meet NPCs that you can talk to.
