Virtua Fighter

3D fighting game. The game is premised on a competition between eight of the best martial arts fighters in the world. Game options include single matches, full championship and a two-player versus mode. There is a cast of distinctive characters, each with their own fighting styles and special moves. The control system is straightforward, but has a lot of depth with hundreds of possible moves available. The game's graphics are generally good, particularly in the area of character animation, although the game is now quite old.

Game options include championship, versus, practice, ranking, expert, team battle, watch and portrait modes. Ranking mode displays rankings reflecting your performances with the characters played in the main game. Expert Mode offers more challenging AI opposition designed to counteract the moves you have used in the main modes. In Team Battle Mode you select three or five characters and then swap between them. In Watch mode you can watch computer-controlled fights. Portrait mode displays photos of the fighters. Characters are varied and each has with their own fighting styles and special moves. There are many moves to master and the control system is effective. The game's graphics are good, particularly in the area of character animation.

Soccer game originally released in the arcades. The game does not have an official license and the player's names are fictional. 32 international team and six stadia are incorporated. The game offers high-paced, arcade-style action. Play against the computer or a friend. Up to 32 people can participate in tournament mode. There are several game options; arcade, international cup, league, tournament and single matches. The controls are simple and effective. You can switch your team's formation between two alternatives at any time and change your team line-up at half-time. The game's graphics are good and both players and stadia are rendered in good detail.

Virtua Tennis

This tennis game was originally released in the arcades. It combines playability with good graphics and features a selection of real-life players. Options include training and world circuit modes, championship and exhibitions matches. Both singles and doubles matches are recreated. You can play against the computer or up to three friends. Training mode features a variety of games designed to improve the precision of your shots. World circuit mode is the main single-player option, it consists of a selection of increasingly difficult challenges set in locations around the world. As you progress through the circuit, you'll unlock bonus features. The game's control system is simple but effective and a large number of shot-types is possible.
