Tekken

Classic beat 'em up. The game boasts a strong cast of characters, each with their own fighting style and special moves. In all, there are eighteen playable fighters. Most of which must be unlocked. There are a range of game options including single-player championship and two-player versus mode. The game's graphics are adequate and the control system is highly effective.

Tekken 2

Beat 'em up. This sequel to the successful original incorporates additional characters, moves, arenas and better graphics, particularly in the area of character animation. The game offers a selection of single-player options and a two-player versus mode. The main single-player mode is championship mode, which consists of a series of battles. You unlock new characters by completing the championship with each of the starting characters. There are 25 playable characters in all. New survival and practice modes also feature. Survival mode consists of a series of bouts with the aim of staying alive for as long as possible. New animation features include character head movement.

Tekken 3

Third title in this highly-successful series of fighting games. This game first appeared in the arcades. Improvements have been made over Tekken 2in both graphics and gameplay.

Tekken 4

Arcade-style beat 'em up currently in development. It promises significant improvements over its predecessors, particularly to the graphics. Other new additions will be finite arenas, the shapes of which will effect the way the fights unfold. The way the characters move in three dimension will also be refined. The game will feature some 15 characters including many familiar faces from the previous installments.

Tekken Tag Tournament

Part of this popular series of beat 'em ups, this installment is the first to be released on the PlayStation 2. The game combines advanced graphics with gameplay that has a lot of depth. The advanced platform enables much better character animation and detailed 3D arenas that incorporate animated elements.

Tempest 2000

Update of the classic arcade/action game, Tempest. There are several game variants and options including two-player competitive and cooperative modes. The gameplay consists of controlling a ship patrolling a 'web', or area of space, and shoot any alien invaders. Many different types of enemy with their own characteristics feature. There are some 100 levels in the game. This version boasts improved graphics and sound but retains the frantic playability.

Tempest X3

The Reap

This older game has been re-released at an ultra-budget price. It is a scrolling blast 'em up played from a three-quarters isometric view. Your targets are aliens and you must avoid enemy rockets. There are power-ups to be collected. The game's graphics are, as expected, very basic by current standards.

Time Crisis

This adaptation of the successful arcade game of the same name requires a lightgun and can be used with a pedal. You play a character named Richard Miller who must defeat the evil Sherudo Garo and his henchmen.

Time Crisis Project Titan

First-person railed shooting game. It is the follow-up to the first PlayStation game simply called 'Time Crisis' but is not the same as the arcade game 'Time Crisis 2'. It is designed for use with a lightgun and pedal. The pedal is used for dodging and reloading. Game options include story and timed modes (you select a level and attempt to beat the clock).

TVDJ

Music and video game. You'll take the role of an editor responsible for boasting rating. You select from cells scrolling along the screen to best fit the music. The game will feature stylized design and distinctive graphics.
