Silhouette Mirage
This game, originally released for the Saturn, is now available for the PlayStation. It is a 2D, arcade-style, shooting/fighting game that employs a somewhat bizarre cartoon-style design. You play a female warrior called Shyna and must guide her through a series of challenging levels featuring a range of outlandish opponents. She has a good range of moves at her disposal including a number of fighting attacks. When she is attacks an enemy coins are released that can be used to buy weapons. A novel twist to the gameplay is that enemies fall into one of two categories, silhouette of mirage, hence the game's name. Each types is only vulnerable from one side adding a strategic element to the game. The game's graphics and control system are effective.

There are six well-designed tracks set on the streets of San Francisco. The tracks can also be raced in reverse. They include short cuts and varied times of day and weather conditions are recreated. Racing game featuring authentic cars and drivers, originally released in the arcades. There are four drivable cars available the start of the game, including the Opel Calibra V6 and Mercedes C-Class and the same number of tracks to work through. A couple of additional cars and another track must be unlocked. There are two main game modes; PC and Arcade. Each has a selection of championships and in PC mode there is a time attack mode. Two-players can race head-to-head on the same PC or via LAN or Net. In PC mode there is a good degree of vehicle customizability available. The game's graphics, which require a 3D patch, are adequate although the game is surpassed by other and more recent games.

The premise is that the world's top fighters have been brought together to participate in a competition. The game features new characters, moves and backdrops with a refined interface and many new customization options. The most notable among the characters featured is Chun Li, who was absent in Double Impact. As in that game, the Special Arts system is incorporated. Each character has a three special moves, one of which the player must select one before a match. The original 3D platformer to appear for the N64. It did much to showcase the potential of the new machine. Mario must rescue Princess Peach from evil Bowser's clutches. In order to do this he must explore a vast world and collect 120 'Power Stars'. This involves not only surviving the attacks of the many enemies populating the levels but completing particular challenges. The challenges are varied, including races and reuniting a lost baby penguin with its mother! Mario is not limited to traveling on foot, he can also swim and fly.
