3D blaster and update of an arcade classic, Robotron 2084. Set in the future you take the role of a genetically-enhanced human who must face a myriad of robotic foes who have almost wiped out mankind. A variety of high-powered weapons are incorporated into the game. Weapons and powerups are scattered around in-level. The game consists of a numerous increasingly challenging levels. These can be played by two-players by taking turns. A notable feature of the game is the ability to use the joysticks of two controllers at the same time, reproducing the controls of the original arcade game. The game employs retro-styling and 3D graphics which are adequate.

Arcade-style action game that first appeared in the arcades. You take the role of a giant monster who embarks on a mission to destroy. You can demolish buildings and stamp on people. The aim of the game is to rescue the monsters from the original game, which then become playable. You'll also face an alien invasion.

Ridge Racer 5

Installment in this highly successful series of racing games, it is the first available for the next generation of consoles. The game offers advanced graphics and more subtle vehicle handling characteristics than the previous games in the series. Ridge Racer 64

First in this successful series of racing games to appear on the N64. It combines elements from the four games that have been released for the PlayStation. There are several game options including single-player quick-start races and four championships, and a multi-player option for up to four players. A notable addition is the team mode, for multi-player action. It allows groups of two drivers to race as part of a single team.

Ridge Racer Revolution

Racing game and follow-up the successful original Ridge Racer. The game offers slightly improved graphics, some new cars to unlock and three new tracks. There are a selection of game options; practice, time trial, normal race/championship and two-player versus mode. There are four cars to choose from at the start of the game and each has distinctive handling characteristics. The game's three tracks are variants of each other, increasing in difficulty. It is also possible to reverse them, adding to the game's replayability value. A good feature of the game is that there are twelve cars participate in each race and races are realistically challenging. The game's graphics and audio are good.

Rush 2 Extreme Racing USA

Arcade-style racing game and sequel to a successful original. The game combines racing and stunt action. Points awarded for successfully performed tricks. The game features many new additions, better graphics and an improved physics model. There is a good selection of game options including single races, full championship, stunt competitions as well as two-player cooperative, tag and stunt games. Sixteen varied vehicles are available in total, each with their own handling characteristics.
