The game offers well-designed 17 levels, each of which is much larger than those in the original game. Daniel has a range of weapons and other pieces of equipment that he accumulates as the game progresses. The inventory system has been improved. A notable new feature is the ability to switch between characters (actually different forms of Daniel himself), each with their own special skills. He'll also meet a couple of characters who will accompany him during the game. The gameplay consists of exploration, item collecting, combat and puzzle-solving. Another new addition are sets of mission objectives that you'll encounter in-game. The game's 3D graphics are effective and the game is suitably atmospheric.
