She has been taken hostage in an asylum. The gameplay involves exploration and combat. You view the game from a third-person perspective. The game's graphics are reasonable and cutscenes develop the strong story. The game's controls could be better.

Jersey Devil
Quirky 3D platform game. You play Jersey Devil, a superhero whose mission is to defeat the evil Dr Knarf who has caused an invasion of mutant vegetable to hit Jersey City. The game consists of twelve large levels and the aim is to collect the five tokens scattered around each one. Levels are well-designed and there are many items to find and secrets to be discovered. The Jersey Devil has a range of moves and attacks at his disposal and the controls system is straightforward, although it can be frustrating at time. The camera system could be better. The game's cartoon-style graphics are effective. A fitting range of sound effects and upbeat tunes accompany play.

JRR Tolkien's Middle-Earth: Orcs - Revenge of the Ancient
Strategy/adventure game. You'll be able to take control of the orc villains in Tolkien's famous fantasy world. The aim is to build a camp and train a force of orcs that can be sent to complete the diverse objectives which you will be set. Orcs will come in two main varieties, with their own strengths and weaknesses. Training will involve putting the orcs through their paces in areas such as weapons and defensive skills, magic use, strength and will power. Particular buildings in your camp will concentrate on these various areas. You control of the orcs in groups of four. In battle the way in which they respond to your commends will vary, largely depending on their level of discipline. The game will have a strong plot developed largely through a Clan Council screen where the members provide you with useful information and advice, as well as new objectives. Alongside the single player game, will be a multi-player mode for up to six people via LAN or on-line. The game's graphics, design and audio promise to be good.

Adventure/puzzle game suitable for older children. The premise is that there has been a power cut at Jurassic Park and players must find all the breaker switches to restore power. They'll encounter seven types of dinosaurs as they explore and these can be captured or tranquilized. The controllable character has a wide range of moves including the abilities to jump and climb. There are six levels in all and five difficulty settings. The game's design, graphics and controls are effective.

Jungle Book Rhythm N' Groove
Innovative 'dancing adventure' game aimed primarily at kids. Based closely on the movie, you must mimic the dance moves of the other characters during the musical numbers. Also the words of each song appear karaoke-style along the bottom of the screen. Two players can compete against each other. The game's graphics are good and entertaining cutscenes intersperse the action.
