Battles themselves are turn-based. Each turn you select from a limited number of options (block, slash, taunt, advance, retreat and special move). Notably, once a dragon dies in battle it cannot be regenerated. The game is played through a series of basic screens and battles are conducted in 3D. The game's interface is effective.

Adventure game that employs a top-down perspective. It is based on the animated movie. The game follows a young iguanodon named Aladar who, with this friends, must try to find a safe place to live following a meteor crash. There are three playable characters in all, Aladar. Flia (a pterodactyl) and Zini (a lemur). Each have their own special abilities.
