The central character is a detective named Edward Carnby who is investigating a suicide. You can choose instead to play a female character named Emily Hartwood. The action takes place in a haunted mansion in Louisiana and a hellish world to which your character will be transported. Somewhat confusingly, the game of the same name released for the PSX. The gameplay is the same but the story involves the search for a child who has been kidnapped by a band of pirates. The games include themes that make it unsuitable for the younger gamer.

Second in this successful series of supernatural-themed adventure games based on the books by H.P Lovecraft. Set in the 1920s, you once again play PI Edward Carnby. This time he is investigating the kidnap of a young girl by a pirate named One-Eyed-Jack. Through part of the game you will control the girl rather than Carnby. As in the original, the gameplay involves exploring the 3D environments, gathering clues, interacting with a cast of well developed NPCs, puzzle-solving and combat. The game has an action-feel as you'll soon be equipped with a gun. The gameworld in this sequel is much larger than that of the first game. The graphics and character animation have been improved over the first game, although it looks pretty dated when compared to recent adventure game releases.

3D game that combines action and platform game elements. It is the follow-up to a successful PlayStation original. Once again, you take the role of Spike but rather than capturing monkeys you must instead vacuum off their pants! The game consists of a series timed rounds in which you must clear levels of multiple apes. You must chase them, but after getting their pants they will chase you. Level settings are varied and the apes take indifferent forms to fit the theme, such as cacti in the desert. Bosses also feature. Power-ups are scattered around the levels. The game's design and graphics are generally good, although the gameplay is not all that varied. Unlike the original this sequel does not employs dual analogue controls.
