Some have limited ammo and others are time-limited. There is a good range of single- and multi-player game modes, including ones new to this arcade conversion. Up to four players can compete by taking turns in points-based competitions. Single players can opt for random selections of challenges or to progress through the quest mode which has an RPG skills development system. The quest mode is set on a tropical paradise, Point Blank Island. The aim is to survive the challenges and get to a prize before the evil boss of the 'Scrimp 'n' Save Corporation', named Quickbuck. The game employs essentially 2D, cartoon-style graphics.
