Military-themed action game. Set in the future, the premise is that you are a soldier fighting to repel an alien invasion. The game consists of a series of levels populated by challenging enemies and bosses. The gameplay involves exploration and shooting. Health and weapons power-ups are scattered around the levels. You view the game from a third-person perspective and through most of the game there is a side-on view of the action. The game combines 2D and 3D graphical elements and the graphics could be better. There is no multi-player mode.

Action game. The premise is that a group of armed robots have gone on the rampage. You play a member of a task force who must destroy the robots through eight missions. You view the action from an overhead perspective. There are five payable characters, familiar from other Capcom games. They are Charlie and Cammy (from Street Fighter), Mega Man, B. B. Hood (from Darkstalkers) and Arthur (from Ghosts 'n' Goblins). Each has distinctive characteristics and four attack options. Alongside the main, single-player game, is a two-player competitive mode. The game's graphics are good (particularly on the Dreamcast), with some spectacular explosive effects.

This 3D action/adventure game is part of a long-running series of games that have appeared on multiple formats. It is the follow-up to Castlevania 64. The game incorporates many improvements over Castlevania 64, together with many of the same elements, including characters and levels. It is set eight years before its predecessor and the story revolves around the quest of a character with special abilities, named Cornell, to find his kidnapped sister. He is helped by the main characters of Castlevania 64, Reinhardt Schneider and Carrie Fernandez and a new character Henry (who has a shotgun as his special weapon). This installment of the long-running Castlevania series will be released on the Dreamcast. The release date is to be confirmed. As with the previous games the gameplay revolves around vampire-slaying. A new villain features, called the Countess. She opens a portal to another dimension that allows evil minions through it. Two vampire hunters, familiar from earlier games are brought in to combat this threat. They are Victor and Sonia Belmont, who use weapons, such as a sword. a whip and an ax, as well as magical weapons. The game promises to have stylish design and impressive 3D graphics. There will be five large levels and a wide variety of enemies to fight. Atmospheric audio will accompany play.

The main game requires all of these skills. You choose from one of two agents, one male and one female, named Howard and Jean. They must defeat 'Agares', a terrorist group. The rail-based action takes you through a variety of settings, including a museum and a train. You must choose which targets to take out first and the targeting rings display how close each enemy is to firing on you. The action is fast and furious. The game's graphics are effective.

Horror-themed action adventure game. You take the role of a cop turned security guard, named Keith J. Snyder, who is working at a new casino. The casino has a horror theme and things soon turn ugly for real when the guests are turned into vampires. The aim is to neutralize the vampires without killing them. Snyder can use a anesthetic dart gun or special water that changes the vampires back into people. From here he goes on to encounter many more types of challenging enemy and increasingly powerful (and fatal!) weapons become available. There is also a puzzle-solving component to the gameplay which typically requires finding particular items. Also keys are required to progress. The game's 3D graphics are effective and the game sustains tension well. The control and camera systems are generally reasonable.

Action/biking game! You take the role of a bike courier who must make a series of deliveries in the quest time possible. The fast you get there the more you get paid. The game features some 250 delivery missions. The gameplay involves following arrows to get to your pick-up and delivery destination whilst avoiding the numerous pedestrians who will hit you given half the chance. You can hit them back and perform and variety of stunts. The game's graphics and controls are reasonable although as expected the game now looks somewhat gate.

3D platform game currently in development. It will be the first game in the series to be released for PlayStation 2 and to be developed by Traveller's Tales. It promises fast-paced action and well-designed levels. As well as jumping and using his spin attack, Crash will also be able to take control of a variety of vehicles. Notably, here will be a second playable character, Coco. Vehicles will include a plane, a jeep, a scooter and a heli-pak. The graphics will be advanced. No multi-player mode is planned.

3D platform game staring a cartoon crocodile. The premise is that Croc has to rescue the Gobbos, including their King Rufus, who have been captured by the evil Dantinis, led by Baron Dante. Each of the four main islands is guarded by two bosses, known as Guardians. A fifth island can be unlocked by rescuing all the Gobbos and defeating the Guardians.
