The game is premised on an alternative vision of the Cold War where the US and Soviet Union compete for control of a new metal found on the moon. This bio-metal makes possible new technology. The main game is the single-player campaign mode. You can choose to play either side (the NSDF, National Space Defence Force, or the CCA Cosmo Colonist Army). There are a total of 24 missions of varying length and difficulty (17 for NSDF and 8 for CAA). A good selection of unit types are available and the action is set on several planets. The game promises to offer a lot of depth and significant improvements over the last game.
