RTS game and update of an arcade classic of the same name. Played from a first-person perspective the gameplay is fast-moving. The game is premised on an alternative vision of the Cold War where the US and Soviet Union compete for control of a new metal found on the moon. This bio-metal makes possible new technology. The main game is the single-player campaign mode. You can choose to play either side (the NSDF, National Space Defence Force, or the CCA Cosmo Colonist Army). There are a total of 24 missions of varying length and difficulty (17 for NSDF and 8 for CAA). A good selection of unit types are available and the action is set on several planets. A strong multi-player mode is also available (over LAN or online). The game's graphics, controls and interface are good.

If you finish before or shortly after the boss you can engage him in combat. Buzz is helped out by a few of his friends who appear at points in the game. Settings are varied and include ice and lava worlds. The game's graphics and controls are reasonable.
