Traditional Game from Sunsoft
Puzzle game. Like the earlier Shanghai games for PC, this version features straightforward puzzle action using mahjongg titles. The aim is to remove matching pairs of tiles from a stacked arrangement until none are left. Players can only move tiles which have an adjacent space.
You choose from classic and arcade (time-limited) modes. In arcade mode you can save games using a password system, not available in the classic mode. In both modes you select from three game types; classic, rolling and battle. Rolling is a special version of the game in which the tiles appear on a 3D cube, and you control its rotation. Battle is a versus mode for two players. Both players have their own board and the faster player causes extra tiles to be added to their opponents screen. The game's graphics are adequate.
