Tetris-style puzzle game featuring Pokemon backgrounds and characters. However, the game does not feature variously shaped blocks rather the square blocks are differently colored. Also, rather than blocks falling down from the top of the screen, rows of blocks appear at the bottom of the screen. Pairs of horizontal blocks can then be switched, changing their arrangement. Three or more blocks of the same color arranged horizontally or vertically disappear.
You can choose to play one of a wide selection of Pokemon characters, although in practice this makes no difference to the gameplay. Alongside the single-player mode is a two-player competitive mode, where completed lines cause new blocks to appear on your opponents screen. The game's graphics are bright and colorful and good cutscenes intersperse the levels.
