Strategy and Wargaming Game from MicroProse, by Team 17
Turn-based strategy game and second game in this successful series. Up to four human or computer-controlled teams can play at any one time. Landscapes are generated randomly producing infinite variations of a limited number of terrain types. New landscape-types and items have been added to this version.
Gameplay is everything with Worms and, once again, your team of worms use a variety of high-powered cartoon-style weaponry to wage war against enemy worms in a stylized 2D landscape. Apart from weapons you have defensive tools, that allow you to create hide-outs, and items which help you to traverse the landscape.
The game perimeters can be widely altered, including worm and weapons options. Numerous sound effects and voice samples are incorporated into the game.
