Strategy and Wargaming Game from Empire Interactive, by Talonsoft
Wargame. The game combines real-time and turn-based action. It employs a simple drag and drop system with basic command menu function to organize your troops.
The game is set after Russia's defeat of Napoleon and you can choose to play the French or Eastern Europeans. The Grand Campaign covers the period 1813-4 and includes the battles of Dennewitz, Bautzen and Leipzig. You control aspects such as recruitment, supply and divisional and corps organization. There is also a range of stand-alone scenarios.
Pop-up windows detail the composition of forces since the scale of the battles makes it difficult to distinguish unit-types.
Most of the game takes place on a hexed-based map. There is also a larger scale map. The game's graphics, AI and sound are adequate.
