Strategy RPG sequel to a successful original. The action is tied together by a strong plot, developed largely through good cutscenes.
You control a team of characters through a tense adventure. Magic plays an important part in the game and your character gains experience and new spells as the game progresses. You can also buy equipment. The game takes place on a large world map with battles taking place on grid-based arenas. Combat is turn-based.
The character development and magic systems have been overhauled since the last game. Equipment is now more universal between different types of characters. The new Dual Battle System makes the computer opposition more challenging as enemies can move during your turn-time. The AI has been improved.
The graphics have been improved since the last title. The 3D characters are well-animated. Atmospheric sound effects and music accompany play.
