Strategy and Wargaming Game from Talonsoft, by Haemimont
RTS game set in a fantasy version of the Dark Ages. Apart from tactical combat, the gameplay includes resource management and diplomacy.
There are three playable peoples in the game, the Europeans, Asians and Arabians. Each group has its own unit types and research structures. Notably, in this alternative history magic is real as are mythical creatures like orcs. It is possible to use magic to create fighters such as dragons and stone golems.
There are four main strategies, based on war, religion, magic or trade and craft. The choice you make affects the development path of your people.
Apart from the pre-set single-player campaign there is a good scenario editor and map designer that add a good degree of replayability. The multi-player options allows up to eight people to play on-line or via LAN.
The game is played on an isometric landscape.
