Strategy and Wargaming Game from Electronic Arts, by Bullfrog Productions
Management sim and long-awaited sequel to 'Theme Park' (1994). It was released in the US as Sim Theme Park. As well as managing resources, you design the park. Success is determined by the virtual public (all children) who visit the park. A innovation of the game is the ability to switch into first-person view anywhere in the park, allowing a very direct experience of your park.
You spend on research before you can build the big rides or buy more land to expand your park. There are various ways that you can manipulate the visitors for greater profit, like extra salt on fries to make customers drink more! You also manage your staff, employ entertainers and build shops, restrooms etc.
There are four types of park to choose from. Halloween and Lost Kingdoms (pre-historic) are available from the start whilst Fantasy and Space worlds must be unlocked. The game's 3D graphics are good.
