Strategy and Wargaming Game from Strategic Simulations Inc. (SSI)

Turn-based war game that combines elements form the first two games with some new additions. The main difference is in the scale of the battles, they are now much larger. Maps are bigger and many more units participate in battles. This installment employs the same graphics engine and effective interface of the previous games. The features battles from WW2 and after, up to a few fictitious conflicts set in the late 1990s! The game is played on hex-based maps viewed from an overhead perspective. Loads of authentic units feature and you can also create your own. The game employs a point system so you can 'pay' for repairs or buy new units.

You can choose from 40 scenarios and six small campaigns. There are also good scenario and campaign editors and you can opt for a randomly generated battle. Two players can compete by modem, LAN or email.
