Strategy and Wargaming Game from LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC
RTS set in the Star Wars universe. It is spans the timeframes of all the movies and features loads of familiar characters, races, ship/unit types and locations. There are six campaigns to work through. In each one you control a different group, including the Rebel Alliance, Wookies, Gungans and the Trade Federation. Each group has their own strengths and weaknesses and unique unit types. For instance, the Gungans can build underwater bases and launch surprise attacks. A tutorial, map and scenario editors and a multi-player mode are also available
The game employs Ensemble Studio's Age of King's engine. The gameplay involves resource management, development of new tech, unit construction and tactical combat. There are four resources; food, ore, carbon and Nova crystals. You allocate unit upgrades in several areas, such as speed and accuracy as the game progresses. The game's graphics and controls are effective.
