Strategy and Wargaming Game from Blue Byte Software
RTS/god sim. The gameplay involves managing resources, building settlements and guiding you people in combat. The game features an in-depth economic model that requires careful allocation of resources and development of industry. Lots of information is available you help you manage your industries. The game offers selection of eighteen stand-alone scenarios and a campaign of ten scenarios.
In campaign mode you take control of a group of shipwrecked Romans and after building up a settlement you'll face a variety of increasingly challenging foe as you attempt to secure control of a series of magical portals. There is also a multi-player mode for two people (using the same computer and two mice). The game's controls and graphics are effective, although it now looks a bit dated. A good selection of sound effects are incorporated.
