Strategy and Wargaming Game from Red Storm Entertainment

Acclaimed military sim based on the novels of Tom Clancy with strategy and first-person shoot 'em up game elements. Set in the near future you are in charge of a special anti-terrorist force, the Rainbow unit. You control up to eight men (or less on some platforms) that you deploy in a series of 18 well-designed missions(or less on some platforms).

Each mission is preceded by a detailed mission planning phase. You must select and equip your team and, using the planning screen map included together with the detailed intelligence, develop a plan of attack. A good selection of armor and weapons are incorporated. Once the mission is underway, you coordinate the action and can switch to directly control any of your men. The game boasts good 3D graphics and controls.
