Management sim. You choose from the selection of pre-set scenarios or an open-ended game. The game features six distinctive locations in the US, South America, Europe and Africa. You decide how your railroad expands; creating new routes, and deciding what trains carry the different types of cargo. The aim is to maximize your profits by creating trains and routes that will carry the most cargo. Competition comes in the form of rival companies. In all, over 30 types of trains are incorporated. The game is played through an easy-to-use interface and a landscape screen. You company's progress can be tracked by the performance of their shares on the stock market. As might be expected, the game now looks dated.
