Strategy and Wargaming Game from Sierra Studios, by Impressions Games
City management game with strategy component set in Ancient Egypt. This is the follow-up to the Caesar games and it employs a modified Caesar 3 engine. The game includes a series of challenging missions with varied objectives.
Mission are played on varied maps. The isometric landscapes feature 3D terrain and all buildings and people are 3D and rendered in detail. The interface is well-designed and easy-to-master.
The game requires complex resource management, in all some 30 different resources are included. You must also ensure that you population is provided with health and religious provision and entertainment. Combat is conducted in real-time and the system is effective.
Food is grown on the fertile banks of the Nile valley, with consideration of the annual inundation. Monuments, including pyramids must be built, and offerings made to the gods in order to avoid their wrath.
