Strategy and Wargaming Game from Strategic Simulations Inc. (SSI), by Mindscape
This WW2 turn-based war game. The game is played on hex-based map screens. Over 350 authentic units types are included. The game features easy-to-master controls and simplified rules for fast-paced action.
The main single-player consists of a dynamic campaign in which you play the Axis forces, and a set of scenarios which can be played from either side. There is also a two-player mode, by hot-seating or e-mail. Both historically-accurate and hypothetical scenarios are included. Good video clips and briefing sessions intersperse the missions. The game's AI, interface and graphics are effective, despite the game's age.
