Strategy and Wargaming Game from Virgin Interactive Entertainment, by Altar Interactive
RTS. The game is set in an alternative vision of the Cold War where the conflict has spilled through time thanks to the invention of time travel. The gameplay involves resource management, development of forces and tactical combat. The research system enables some 4000 different types of units to be assembled. An important element is the RPG-like qualities of some units. They will gain experience and 'communicate' with the player during missions. Thus the game's maps are varied with different terrain and natural dangers. It offers gameplay with a lot of depth and significant difficulty. The game is played on an isometric landscape and the graphics are fairly basic but effective. The control system easy-to-use.
