Strategy and Wargaming Game from CDV Software Entertainment AG
3D RTS game currently in development. It will cover the period 1600-1900 in North America and focus on the colonization of the western states. It will consist of three campaigns with some thirty missions. A multi-player mode, for games over LAN or Net, and a map editor will also feature. The campaigns will be based on historical reality and have a connecting story.
Six distinctive ethnic groups will feature; the English, settlers, Spaniards, American patriots and two groups of native Americans (forest and prairie). You'll get to play them all. The gameplay will involve resource management, development of new technologies and combat. Human units will have a wide range of abilities such as being able to swim and function at night. Different season and times of day will be recreated. The game's graphics and design promise to be good.
