Strategy and Wargaming Game from MicroProse, by SimTex
Strategy/resource management game set in space. You begin the game with a handful of ships with the aim of developing your empire using diplomacy as well as combat when dealing with the other races. The first stage of the game involves designing the size of the game-universe and the number and strength of opponents. You select from numerous races, each with their own characteristics and tech trees. The game's graphics are adequate, but its in the quality of the gameplay in which this game excels.
