Kingdom sim set in a fantasy universe. The gameplay combines resource management with god sim and RPG elements. You take the role of a king with the aim of expanding your kingdom, defeating invaders and keeping the land free of monsters.
In order to do this you have to hire mercenary heroes that come four classes, warrior, thief, forester and wizard. You must train and equip them and assist them at points by using the king's magic powers. The heroes develop with experience. You must also maintain a happy peasant population by encouraging settlements and ensuring the food supply. You set taxation levels and manage the treasury.
The game is played on an isometric landscape with 3D features. The landscape and units are rendered in detail. The game's control and menu systems are effective. A good range of sound effects and music are incorporated.
