Strategy and Wargaming Game from Talonsoft, by Sir-Tech
Turn-based strategy/war game with RPG component. You control a group of hand-picked mercenaries through a series of challenging missions. You select the men and equipment you are going to take before each mission. Each mercenary has a distinctive personality and relationship histories with the other men and these must be considered when making your selection. Also, since they cost money, you must stay within a budget.
The campaign takes place on the fictitious island of Metavira, which has been occupied by a villain named Lucas Santino. The land is divided into sectors and the aim is to increase the number of sectors that you control. The game is played on an isometric landscape and is viewed from an almost totally overhead perspective. Even at the time of release the graphics were not advanced, the game now looks very dated.
