Strategy and Wargaming Game from Eidos Interactive, by Hothouse Creations
RTS game and follow-up to a successful original. Unlike the first game there is no turn-based element to the gameplay. Also, this sequel is not limited to a single city, the 25 mission campaign is spread across 15 cities. The large city levels are now more alive with activity. The game also features improved graphics and a refined interface.
Set in the US during Prohibition, you take the role of Joey Bane. He is out to avenge his father's death by infiltrating the mafia and gaining a power-base. As in the original, your character is involved in activities such as gambling, extortion, prostitution, assassination, bribery and dealing bootleg liquor. The aim is to earn cash and gain influence. You hire gangsters to carry out your orders and new types are available, including hit men. A new Family Tree tracks the increasing experience and skills of your gang members, encouraging you not to put them at risk.
