Real-time combat sim. Set in 2015, the game is premised on a hypothetical conflict between the Western powers and China. China have invaded Kazakhstan and you are in charge of a US force (Force 21) in 30 missions that cover ground and air combat. As the game progresses you command larger numbers of troops. There is also a multi-player mode, up to four players can fight it out on one of 10 maps.
The game is played on 3D terrain and you view the action from a third-person perspective. A contour map is available. By selecting a platoon on the terrain map you switch views and can then issue orders.
Part of the game is appointing commanders to manage platoons. Each commander has their own strengths and weaknesses. The game's graphics are good and the interface easy-to-use.
