Strategy and Wargaming Game from Interplay, by Computer Artworks
Action/adventure game with strong strategy component. Set in a future where humanity is able to genetically engineer its own 'superwarriors' which continue to evolve over their lifetime. You decide in which areas to concentrate this evolution.
The game's premise is that a new threat has been discovered - a creature with the ability to destroy entire worlds. There are several game options including a multi-player mode for up to eight players (via LAN or Net). The main single-player game consists of a series of missions with varied objectives.
You control a team of three members and can switch to directly control each one, whilst issuing orders to the others. You view the action from a third-person perspective. An extensive range of innovative weapons are incorporated into the game. The game employs good design and impressive 3D graphics. The sound is of a similarly high standard.
