Strategy and Wargaming Game from Psygnosis, by Perfect Entertainment
Point-and-click adventure game based on Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels. The gameworld combines fantasy and magic with many humorous touches. You take the role of a bungling wizard named Rincewind as he embarks on a mission to get Death back to work. Having been injured, Death has gone on vacation and everyone that dies is trapped in their bodies!
The gameplay involves exploration, collecting items, interacting with NPCs and puzzle-solving. Most of the puzzles require you to use specific items and it is easy to overlook these, despite the fact that the cursor changes when over hotspots. A choice of dialogue options is available during conversations with NPCs. This sequel offers little that is new over the original game. It employs detailed backgrounds and cartoon-style graphics. As expected, it now looks somewhat dated. Notably, the PlayStation version supports the PlayStation mouse.
